Ambition

There are two kinds of motivations with ambition.

The first is one that breaks God’s heart. It’s the motivation to be enough. To prove. To gain. To seek something external in order to fill something that’s missing inside.
And the second?

The motivation, work, and seeking that comes from a deep place of knowing that you belong where you’re headed.

There’s nothing superficial or born-of-insecurity about it. Your ambition becomes not only your responsibility, but it also becomes fully supported.
It’s the kind of ambition that makes God smile.
It’s simply the act of heading Home.
