Your Love Can Too.

If it were easy to step into your truest gifts and use your biggest talents, I think God would be a lot smaller than he is.

I think His love wouldn’t be unconditional, his promises wouldn’t be faithful, and forgiveness for being our human selves may not be a thing. 

I have a feeling that if manifesting our deepest gifts and using our biggest talents weren’t a fight, something would be off. Something wouldn’t match up. Because I’ve seen the kind of work HE’S doing…. the time and attention he puts in.
The relentless effort it takes for Him to open MY eyes, change MY heart, and set ME free.
And I just think if it were easy for ME to do that— to set my truest gifts and my biggest talents free— then I’d just know something was off.

I get it. The difference between Him and us is big.
Unconditional Love. Faithful promises. Forgiveness and Grace.
I get it. He’s made us the object of his time. The single location of his effort. His very purpose for existing. 
But I also get that He’s made us to be just like him.

If God can make the heavens and the earth with his time, his effort, and purposeful work… I bet you could make some really cool things too. I bet the way his Love became effortless and undeniable (clearly standing in his gifts and talents)— is the same way your love can too.
