Love

Love is the foundation of what I do and why I do it. To have a close relationship with God, and a close relationship with others. Spurring them on to their own highest fulfillment and personal calling.

Lead

I play this game of life to better the lives of the people around me. And I take the initiative to make this happen.

Create

For me, to create is to 1) understand. To truly understand is not only a foundational need of mine, but it is a large motivator for every relationship I build and task I engage in. And 2) to teach, inspire, and deeply connect. Teaching and inspiring is the God-given mission I am called to. Creativity is one medium in which I feel deeply connected to God, and as a result, serves to facilitate a deep connection to others.

Play

Play is my DNA. A life-long athlete, and growing up in a small town where wide open space and people were all we had— imaginative, present, unapologetic, inclusive, curious, all-in, joyful, free play is foundational to who I am. It is what my spirit and soul need to be connected to the gift of sweet freedom from God. And it has become my act of appreciation and gratitude in response. I believe God desires this kind of pure Joy for us.

Rest

Rest is the essential foundation to the action taken in all the values written above. True rest is found in connection to God and one’s self. It is found in surrender and help. True rest breeds true health—spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Rest is where you can let go. In letting go, the game of life is free to play out for you in response.
